II. Research areas
1. Basic scientific research in the field of Environmental Biochemistry, focusing on a number of directions as follows:
- Research on the chemistry of free radicals: the formation, existence and their activity in different environments;
- Studying the metabolism of these compounds in the natural processes, biology and the environment;
- Research on methods for determining the formation, qualitative, quantitative intermediate products and final products of metabolism, their interaction with the environment;
- Look at the processes of extraction, semi-synthetic, synthetic and biosynthetic new compounds potentially active (API) from plants and animals;
- Research on methods to isolate, purify and study the structure of natural compounds;
- Calculator, simulation, modeling the response process.
2. The application-oriented research in the field of Environmental Biochemistry, focusing on a number of directions as follows:
- Look at the process of environmental treatment technology: the advanced oxidation method and the heterogeneous homogeneous (ozone chemistry, Fenton, Photo-Fenton, Electro-Fenton, UV / solid catalyst, TiO2, ...), Biological methods, mechanical methods,
- Research and manufacture of materials handling applications, cleaning the environment and renewable energy production.
3. Research and development in the field of Environmental Biochemistry, apply new knowledge, new methods, new techniques are studied in practical service of the State administration and for organizations and individuals demand:
- Advice and evaluation of environmental quality, organization, participated in the work environment pollution treatment
- Implementation of scientific and technological services for analysis of pollutants, toxic substances, narcotics, ... in the different subjects.
- Implementation of scientific and technological services relevant.
